2015/5/7 - scenes of early summer
初夏 - As I was riding my bicycle home the other afternoon in the warm setting sunlight, I found myself mesmerized by the tiny wildflowers dotting the bright green grass along the road. There were all colors – vivid pink, cornflower blue, bright yellow, fluffy white. It’s only the beginning of May, but already the air is growing thicker and the heat of daytime is beginning to linger into the evening hours. I love this season, the few weeks just before it grows oppressively hot and humid, when the wind carries a gentle sweetness to it and the light glows golden in afternoons.
